Joshua aims to secure legacy

Anthony Joshua believes the heavyweight division’s competitiveness should not be written off as he prepares to continue writing his legacy, Metro reports.
The IBF, WBA and IBO champion defends his perfect 19-0 knockout record against Kubrat Pulev on October 28 with many expecting the Brit to run through the Bulgarian.
Joshua’s team have their eye on bigger fights, but the Pulev clash has already proved it’s mettle with Cardiff’s Principality Stadium almost completely sold out for the contest.
The 27-year-old is still at the beginning of his career despite being the owner of two major belts, but already, it looks like he could reign for a while.

The heavyweight division seems to lack serious competitiveness, but Joshua is not concerned.
“If I fight Daniel Dubois tomorrow it will be a big fight, if I fight Joe Joyce tomorrow it will be a big fight,”  Joshua said.
‘That’s the way the division is rocking at the moment, I don’t need to put all my eggs in one basket with one opponent at the moment.
“I could fight anyone and it would be a big fight.
“People just want to see who’s going to be the man to beat me.
“That’s what people come out for — to see me knock someone out cold or to see them knock me out cold. It’s one or the other.”
The division’s credibility was further rocked when perceived top contender Luis Ortiz tested positive for a banned substance.
There is still WBC champion Deontay Wilder, but WBO king Joseph Parker was anything but convincing when he beat Hughie Fury in Manchester.
It seems Joshua may find it hard to find a real rival, but he insisted legacy rivalries can happen from nowhere.
“I could fight Joe Bloggs who the bookies don’t think can beat me, but he ends up putting up one hell of a fight that takes his stock up,” he said.
“That sort of thing creates the rivalry that (Joe) Frazier, (Muhammad) Ali and (George) Foreman had, peak level fighters of their era who all ended up fighting each other.
“I don’t have that now, but you never know what’s going to happen.
“People might think Pulev’s going to be an easy fight, but he might come and put me in a place I haven’t been before and that I didn’t expect maybe.
“It might be a barnstormer of a fight.”

The weird rules the royal family are expected to follow. (But break all the time). In international news this week, a guy held his girlfriend’s hand. ^^ That sort of thing tends to earn a fair bit of attention when you’re in line to succeed the throne as ruler of a Commonwealth of nations. Especially if that thing, well, just isn’t generally done. “Prince Harry Broke Royal Protocol with Meghan Markle”, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal PDA May Have Been Against the Rules”, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Broke a MAJOR Royal Rule”, the headlines read. But the truth is, the Royals – especially the younger ones – break protocol all the time. Because, let’s face it, a lot of them (the rules, that is) are really bloody weird. Here are a few they’ve tossed out the window. They mustn't let people touch them And not just girlfriends. The media went nuts in 2009 when Michelle Obama and the Queen stood side-by-side with (then) US First Lady Michelle Obama, the...
