Davido’s friend Tagbo had too much alcohol in his system – autopsy

An autopsy report by a medical examiner has found that the death of Tagbo Umeike was caused by excessive alcohol consumption and drug overdose as earlier speculated.
The 35-year-old was a mutual friend of singer Davido and actress Caroline Danjuma.
Danjuma had accused Davido of being complicit in his death.
The ‘IF’ singer had denied any involvement in the incident, saying only “God knows the truth“.
The toxicology test detected that Umeike had 75.5 percent of Barcardi 151 in his system, placing his blood-alcohol concentration at 0.112, a number higher than 0.08, the legal limit for a human being.
The result also showed that Umeike took a combination of alcohol and drugs. The drug found in his system, topiramate, is a medication for epilepsy and/or migraines.
The coroner’s office said the drug can cause one to slip into early stages of hypothermia and eventual death and that the amount found in Umeike’s system was in the “therapeutic range”.
According to a statement by the coroner’s office, “Alcohol and topiramate are synergistic. When combined, the effect of either or both drugs is enhanced.
“Topiramate, like alcohol, can cause dizziness, impaired memory, impaired concentration, poor coordination, confusion and impaired judgment.
“Central nervous system depression, or impairment, combined with cold exposure can hasten the onset of hypothermia and death.”
Tagbo Umeike’s family has said he “didn’t have a prescription for any type of topiramate medication”.

the weird rules the royal family are expected to follow. (But break all the time).

The weird rules the royal family are expected to follow. (But break all the time). In international news this week, a guy held his girlfriend’s hand. ^^ That sort of thing tends to earn a fair bit of attention when you’re in line to succeed the throne as ruler of a Commonwealth of nations. Especially if that thing, well, just isn’t generally done. “Prince Harry Broke Royal Protocol with Meghan Markle”, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal PDA May Have Been Against the Rules”, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Broke a MAJOR Royal Rule”, the headlines read. But the truth is, the Royals – especially the younger ones – break protocol all the time. Because, let’s face it, a lot of them (the rules, that is) are really bloody weird. Here are a few they’ve tossed out the window. They mustn't let people touch them And not just girlfriends. The media went nuts in 2009 when Michelle Obama and the Queen stood side-by-side with (then) US First Lady Michelle Obama, the...
